Scheduled UC Council meeting dates for 2025 are as follows:

- Thursday 15 May - via Zoom. Anyone is welcome to join the public meeting, starting at 9.00am, using either of the following Zoom links: Join Zoom Meeting or https://canterbury.zoom.us/j/99268062364
- Thursday 26 June
- Thursday 14 August
- Thursday 25 September
- Thursday 20 November
- Thursday 18 December (if required)
Meetings of the Council are held in public unless there is a good reason to exclude the public, including media, from Council or committee meetings. Public excluded agenda and minutes are not available to the public.
Reasons for 'public excluded' include:
- Protecting the privacy of any person,
- To enable free and frank expression of opinions,
- Commercial confidentiality or legal privilege.
Resolutions to exclude the public are made under Section 48 of the Local Government Official Information & Meetings Act 1987.
