Catherine Fairhall is a Senior Facilitator with several years’ experience in supporting teachers and literacy specialists implement BSLA in Years 0- 3.
Catherine has over 30 years’ experience as a classroom teacher and has a background as a literacy leader in primary schools, coaching and supporting teachers in literacy assessment and teaching practice. Her work as an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) Workshop Leader and Coordinator involved her in supporting schools with curriculum development and systems change.
Catherine is also the programme Co-ordinator for BSLA PLD for Teacher Aides in Structured Literacy Teaching.
Catherine supports BSLA literacy specialists and Communities of Practice in Auckland, the Bay of Plenty and Coromandel.
