The Better Start Literacy Approach (BSLA) is a comprehensive programme designed to foster early literacy and language success in children.
Resources for families includes access to early readers and teaching notes, enabling parents to actively support their child's reading journey. We also provide a variety of classroom resources, including early decodable readers and phonological awareness materials to support effective literacy instruction.
Professor Gail Gillon's Phonological Awareness Training (PAT) programmes provide free resources for children aged 5-7 and preschoolers with speech disorders, including assessment tools and lesson plans.
